A very tricky start to the card where five of the 18 declared runners won last time and one of them, KUANYAO, is taken to maintain an excellent run of form. Peter Makin's four-year-old has been really well placed to win his last five starts, mainly over 7f, but also last time over this trip when he again had plenty in hand. He is taken to prove up to the task of dealing with another 8lb rise. Divertimenti is more of a specialist at this trip and he should be suited by conditions, so a 7lb rise for him for what was a comfortable success may also be within range. Folkestone winner Liberty Lady is 2lb higher here and will have her work cut out to follow-up, while Barney Curley's Elusive Hawk is well worth a market check but has not yet won from a mark this high.
