Verdict

Given his connections THANKS FOR COMING is probably worth siding with in what looks an average bumper; Cityar, Steel Bullet and Percival rate the main threats. Nicky Henderson has an enviable strike-rate in this type of event and his record at the track is impressive too, factors which combine to ensure we take any of his horses seriously. This son of Helissio ran only a fair race on his debut but could well do better on this ground and any such improvement will see him hard to beat. Steel Bullet probably sets the standard on what we've seen but Jennie Candlish's charge was a long way behind one of Henderson's on debut and the latter is clearly happy to take on Steel Bullet again. Cityar is another to have finished behind one of Henderson's last time and can be opposed under his penalty, one gained for winning here, whilst William Percival is also easy to take on despite the fact the yard's runners tend to improve for their first outing. La Chemme needs a market check for a yard that don't send many here whilst Singapore Harbour represents a yard that have a fair record in these but in all probability this will fall to Thanks For Coming, who gets the vote accordingly.
