In depth

Verdict

In a novice hurdle that shouldn't take much winning bumper winner HONORARY TITLE seem to have been found a good opportunity to open his jumping account and he is taken to do so ahead of Cresswell Bubbles and Golden Button. Progressive in Irish bumpers the selection showed some promise in two starts over obstacles before joining Tim Vaughan's operation. This will be his first start for his new yard and the Welsh trainer's record with his those new to his care is well advertised. Nigel Twiston-Davies is having a good end to the season and his Cresswell Bubbles has a chance of continuing that. A winner of his debut he struggled under a penalty to follow up but with the form from his bumper runs looking strong he certainly warrants respect on his first start over timber. Golen Button was a winner on the level and has improved in two runs in this sphere and there's no reason why he won't kick on again. Vertueux sets the standard on the ratings front but with that not a particularly high benchmark, we choose Honorary Title to win on debut for new connections.
