Verdict

Marju's Quest is likely to be a big price as he bids to repeat last year’s victory. He’s shown little since, including on his debut for Adrian Wintle at Kempton, though the booking of the champion jockey is interesting. Another course and distance winner, Star Foot, has been knocking on then door recently and, like Fort Carson, been keeping better company. Centuro beat a subsequent winner at Uttoxeter in the autumn and Mortens Leam has been placed twice lately at Wetherby. Anton Dolin won at Ludlow last month but DESTINY’S GOLD would have gone very close at Warwick 11 days ago had he not fallen two out and it looks like Richard Newland has coaxed him back to his best.
