In depth

Verdict

SEA CLIFF has had a winter campaign on the flat where he was successful at Southwell and is taken to win again on his return to the jumping scene, while both Sir Harry Cool and Pilca are worth noting. The selection was last seen over jumps when winning at Huntington back in October. He was breaking his maiden tag that day and although he looks unfairly treated with a mark of 113 we feel he will have the class to win off that mark this time of year. Sir Harry Cool is 18lbs higher in the ratings since winning at Wincanton last month. He is still only lightly raced and is open to further improvement. Pilca has dropped in the weights since last year and now looks to have a handy enough mark. If he can recapture some of his best form he could prove to be dangerous so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Sea Cliff.
