Soliya has looked a useful recruit to the novice hurdling ranks having won two of her three starts since joining the David Pipe stable and is taken to make it three out of four here, getting the verdict over Mud Monkey and Franchoek. The last mentioned has shown progressive form on the flat of late, winning three of her last four starts, and could be of interest on her hurdling debut for Alan King but she may want further to show her best form so may be best watched. Tension Point is likely to find this tougher than the races that he has won at Newton Abbot and Fontwell of late, while Kanonkop is clearly better over hurdles than on the flat but does need to improve. Brendan Powell's Mud Monkey has shown decent form in winning his last two starts but there has been plenty to like about Soliya and she is preferred.
