        Verdict

        Star Empire is a standing dish around here and will be having his 20th successive start on the track. He's been narrowly beaten in this twice already and was involved in a handicap here a month ago in which the first five home renew rivalry. The progressive Battersea just got up to beat Paene Magnus a short-head with FAMOUS KID a close third, Rio Tigre just behind in fourth and Star Empire beaten three lengths by the winner in fifth. The latter just about comes out top at the weights but it's the Godolphin charge who is handed the vote as he was also conceding plenty of weight. Tellina has some smart form though over shorter but Sheikhzayedroad has a very good record on the track and arrives with a superb effort in the Canadian International behind him. That was in October but he'll be ready for this and if he stays the trip has to be of considerable interest.
