Verdict

Zamindo needs to improve on maiden efforts but Mark Johnston does like taking on older handicappers with three-year-olds. However, CRAZY TORNADO, of the same age, was pretty impressive when scoring over the Carlisle mile last time in a manner suggesting he's on the upgrade. He's improved steadily since joining his current yard from the Halford team in Ireland and can sustain that progression as the step-up to a mile seemed just what was required the last day. Almuhalab and Playtothewhistle are closely handicapped after finishing one-two last time over course and distance and both should be in the mix, whilst Whitkirk looks best of the O'Keeffe pair and is respected with conditions to suit. Drago is unexposed and has just his second start for the O'Meara yard but does not appeal as being particularly well handicapped.
