      Verdict

      ROYAL COSMIC hinted at an imminent victory when runner-up at Beverley and came here last week to gain his first success. He has a 6lb penalty to overcome but Connor Murtagh has been booked with his 5lb claim and a quick double looks on the cards. Al Hawraa also lost her maiden tag last time at Hamilton though that was over 1m1f and she's never been this far. Rosemay has yet to win but has performed with credit on this track and in a better race than this at Chester last time. Donnachies Girl won three times in mid-summer and her last two runs have been at a higher level but Mister Showman should do better back over hurdles. So Celebre was well supported at Kempton on Friday and only failed by a short-head so connections will be looking for compensation.
