Verdict

There's little between four of these, namely UPARK FLYER, Madam Markievicz, Glenns Princess and Misscomplacent, with preference for the former. The Pat Morris-trained filly missed an engagement at York this week to wait for this easier opportunity and the form of her last run at Goodwood received a timely boost on Friday, with the winner following up at Sandown. This race represents a drop in grade, steep enough for us to award her the vote. Madam Markievicz is a course and distance winner and the yard are returning to form but she's perhaps not quite worth her BHA rating, Glenns Princess arrives under a cloud following a poor run at Carlisle where she was beaten before the sixth furlong became an issue, while Misscomplacent may just want an extra furlong. Cruise Racer is a stable companion of our pick and needs a look in the betting as does Katiesister, whose dam knew how to win races at this level.
