Formal Order won a Listed hurdle at Limerick two years ago and makes his debut over fences. Winning point-to-pointer and bumper Grand Jury made a successful hurdling debut at Punchestown last November then finished runner-up in a Grade 1 here before falling at the second in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham. He has a chaser's pedigree so should go well. Unexpected Depth hasn't won for almost two years but had some decent form over timber though THREE STRIPE LIFE looks a fine recruit to fences. Gordon Elliott's charge, runner-up to Sir Gerhard in two Grade 1's over timber, went one better in the Mersey at Aintree before another excellent run at the highest level at Punchestown.
