Verdict

Augustine, Great View and Street Life look the three to concentrate on in this competitive opener and the narrow vote is given to Augustine. The selection was a fair second behind Olimpo last time out. That horse has since won again under his penalty and with conditions that suit he looks the one to be on. Great View is another that could go well as he will also like conditions but he looks vulnerable under top weight. Street Life is another that will but he has never won off a mark this high before. Hathaal was second behind Treetops Hotel last time and is another with place claims but he is becoming expensive to follow. Of the remainder Atticus Trophies is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Augustine.
