In depth

Verdict

Another wide open contest here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Apache Dawn,Cape Hawk and Murrin and the tentative vote is given to Apache Dawn. The selection won well last time out when beating Chjimes and although having a penalty for that win he again has conditions to suit and he will be hard to beat. Cape Hawk rates the main danger as he beat Malt Or Mash with plenty in hand last time out. However this looks tougher and he looks to have plenty of weight for what he has actually achieved. Murrin is another that could go well but he has been done no favours by the draw and he is taken on with this in mind. Rule Of Life was second behind Altar last time and could improve for the fitting of first time blinkers. Of the remainder Spume and Curzon Prince are from shrewd in form yards and could go well at a price but they look weighted up to their best and with this in mind for the winner we return to Apache Dawn.
