      Verdict

      Today's likely soft going is an unknown factor for most of these with the exception of Teetotal but even he would prefer a faster surface. A chance is taken that the slow ground will help the chances of ASSEMBLY as he drops back from 7f after a third at Beverley last week and he gets the vote. The Nifty Blaze should also finish closer with a debut at Thirsk under his belt and there was some cut in the ground when Ichimoku finished third at Musselburgh last time, although he never threatened the winner. The remainder are harder to fancy on what little they've shown so far.
