    In depth

    Verdict

Aramist should finish closer having finished strongly to take fourth place at Ripon on his debut and Orions Hero has a shout on his recent second at Doncaster though it was fast ground on that occasion. HASHEEM seemed to handle the soft going on last year's debut at Newmarket and despite failing to make any impression on his return at Chester, he has a much easier task today in what looks an ordinary maiden. Roger Varian's colt gets the nod with Dark Ocean looking best of the rest on his placed effort at Hamilton.
