    Verdict

Last month's contest over course and distance may hold the key to this where RACY finished just ahead of Swilly Ferry whilst Aetos was an impressive winner of his maiden but a raft of runners hold live claims. Sir Michael Stoute's runner and Swilly Ferry raced in a group of just five up the stands' side rail but clearly weren't disadvantaged as the winner was also in their group with Love Delta not far behind. Swilly Ferry may well be fancied to reverse the form as he was hampered but Racy is the more lightly raced of the pair and may, consequently, have greater scope for progress. Aetos looked green on his reappearance but looked useful when having plenty of use made of him next time but it remains to be seen whether he's mentally ready for a test of this nature so soon in his career. Monsieur Joe came home with a good late rattle at Yarmouth whilst Freeforaday, whom he beat in a maiden, improved at a rate of knots at the end of last term. Nosedive should be better suited by this trip whilst support for Bagamoyo would be of interest given that the trainer enjoyed a double on Wednesday with two runners making their seasonal reappearances. However, we are going to side with one with a run and will opt for Racy.
