In depth

Verdict

This is anybody's race with most of the field winning their latest starts. ONE LIFE LIVE IT remains unbeaten after landing a handicap at Lingfield and gets the token vote ahead of another recent winner, Them And Us, who scored at Epsom last month. Mezajy won a maiden race on the same card at Epsom while both Oracolo and Beat Goes On opened their accounts on the all-weather at Wolverhampton. Gossiping obliged when a winning favourite at Nottingham last time but Yorkshire Dales was returned a shock 50/1 winner in soft ground at Nottingham so that form should be taken with a pinch of salt.
