Richard Hannon has four in this race and while all can be given a chance, we think that TAMAYUZ STAR is the pick. The colt finished second in the Stardom Stakes at Goodwood earlier this month, and as the winner had previously chased home Dundonnell in the Acomb Stakes, the trainer will have an idea as to that formline through his Champagne Stakes winner, Toronado. Ashaadd will be tried in blinkers for the first time. Roger Varian's colt does have to concede weight to all his rivals on account of his sales price, but he gave a very good account of himself in a high-class renewal of the Horn Blower Stakes at Ripon. He would, however, need to reverse Sirenia Stakes form with Zanetto in order to win this. Andrew Balding's colt had taken some time to get off the mark although he is perfectly genuine and is far from devoid of ability.
