Verdict

The assessor may have underestimated the performance of STAGEMANSHIP at Nottingham as he ran very green. There's much more to come and he can remain unbeaten. Chief Barker has been allotted the same mark and an entry in the Racing Post Trophy suggests he's thought capable of much better. Trip To Paris put a poor debut behind him to score nicely at Lingfield and he should again have the measure of Floating Ballerino, who was almost 2l behind and has a penalty for last week's Windsor victory. Finn Class was impeded at a crucial stage on his hat-trick attempt here last week but it was only a seller that Hatti won here a couple of weeks ago.
