Verdict

Life Partner showed up nicely on his debut at Doncaster and went back there for an impressive maiden success a couple of weeks later. He's difficult to assess but it will be a surprise if he's not competitive though the concession of 6lb to STABLEFORD may prove beyond him. Brian Meehan's charge has been narrowly beaten in two strong nurseries since his Yarmouth victory and this looks within his range. Dashing David has had plenty of experience and has hardly gone up in the weights despite two recent victories while the filly Front Page News has already had a dozen starts and may not have finished winning yet from this sort of mark.
