Verdict

Tony Martin, who was in brilliant form at the Galway Festival a couple of weeks ago, is a rare visitor for this meeting so Quick Jack, one of the few from the yard to be beaten at Galway, has to be greatly respected despite having never won a race. However, he faces a stiff task against two penalised entries who are both very well handicapped after easy latest victories. Bohemian Rhapsody has completed a hat-trick and has been raised 11lb for his latest success but can run here with a 6lb penalty under a 7lb claimer. That suggests he should be home and hosed but NAUTILUS is even better in. He won a handicap here by no less than 15l and was eased down in the process. Not surprisingly the assessor took a dim view and raised him an astonishing 18lb so it's no surprise to see him turning out here with 6lb extra. Strawberry Jam has been gradually improving and a regulation 6lb rise for his narrow Kempton victory looks fair.
