Three-year-olds have dominated this contest but last year's winner JOURNEY (NAP) can buck the trend. She was beaten by Beautiful Romance in a Group 2 at York on her reappearance but is better off at the weights here and was back to winning ways over her best trip shortly after. An absence since is a bit of a worry but her class can see her home. Beautiful Morning has had an even longer break since finishing second at Newbury but may be the best of the classic generation ahead of Last Tango Inparis, only beaten a neck at Saint-Cloud in July, and Shall We, who was far too keen on the July course when last seen.
