In depth

Verdict

Rolling Hills won only a weak maiden at Salisbury but should improve on his recent effort now dropped in grade, while top-weight Hierarch's best effort to date came over this trip at Warwick, but both have work to do at the weights with FREQUENCY who gets a tentative vote. Ed Dunlop's runner got a bump at Yarmouth and rates better than the bare form and his generally consistent profile earns him the nomination in a poor race, although he's not been able to win in seven starts and can't be backed with total confidence. Flighty Frances has won a contest over this trip and she comes out marginally the best on these terms, but the filly may prefer a sound surface and is just opposed. Ginger Grey is a largely reliable type but he's untested on the ground while Cereal Killer looks Hannon's second-string but the returning blinkers are a positive.
