In depth

Verdict

Redemption is clearly not as good as he once but the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained runner should have no problems with the underfoot conditions, takes a big drop in class and is hard to oppose in a race where the main dangers look to be Reidwil and Marker. The last mentioned has shown gradual improvement in recent starts, running a creditable race in a novices' handicap here last time but he is far from certain to stay this far so looks best watched. Los Suenos has shown signs of ability and could be of interest dropped into this class back over hurdles. Sir Night has given little sign of encouragement in recent starts and of more interest may be David Pipe's Reidwil, who drops into a seller for the first time and handles cut in the ground. Redemption has solid claims though and is hard to oppose.
