La Soie was beaten 14 lengths by SWISS ART when the pair met here last time and will need to jump better to close that gap with only a 3lb pull on these terms. Indeed, Alison Thorpe's charge gets our vote on the strength of that run in a race that lacks depth. She's got her quirks and there were reservations about her stamina prior to that success but both worries were at least in part put to bed and there's little to fear in this line-up. Natures Way could improve for tackling an easier surface but he certainly needs to having shown a lack of fluency over the obstacles on debut, Hurst Park is closely related to an Irish 2m hurdle winner and needs a market check alongside Richard Lee's Don Jose, who hasn't seen a race track for over a year.
