Stout Cortez made a fair debut on heavy ground at Yarmouth where he led for a long way. He'll be much better for the run and must be a threat. The filly Honor Bound has shown a bit of potential while Derbyshire is obviously well regarded, though he's let his many supporters down in better races at York and Ayr. MY ANCHOR has had his chances but experience may count in this and his overall form should just be good enough unless Marco Botti's newcomer Norab is decent. Love Tangle will undoubtedly have come on for his introduction at Newmarket and is another to consider.
