    Verdict

Steel Rain loves this track and, though carrying a 6lb penalty for his latest success here, it will be a surprise if he isn't in the frame. Commanche acts on any ground though may just be better over an extra furlong as it was at Windsor last time. Sharaarah is consistent enough and only 4lb higher than when scoring at Musselburgh in August but it's CHEVETON who looks the one to be on. He gained a course and distance victory last month on very heavy ground and didn't get the best of runs on his follow-up attempt at Pontefract. Best Trip has been going well in better handicaps than this but appears to need further.
