    Verdict

SPIN TOP came up against a dark one in Rolladice earlier in the week. William Muir is obviously keen to return him to the fray and he's taken to give weight away all round in what rates a pretty low-key affair. The level of his last three runs have all been of sufficiently good quality to land this contest, in which the lightly-raced handicap debutant Madam Devious looks the likeliest danger, especially with Robert Cowell having secured the services of the champion jockey. Young Tiger was never competitive after a tardy stalls exit the last day at Catterick but certainly comes into calculations on the best of his form this season. Optimickstickhill is another not renowned for her consistency but is also one with a claim if on a going day.
