In depth

Verdict

This may revolve around just how good Chiefdom is and a market check is essential for the Gosden newcomer. However, he has presumably had his issues to be making his racecourse debut so belatedly and a chance is taken that MAGICAL SIGHT is far better than his Yarmouth debut back in April suggested. He was well beaten that day when backed into favouritism and hopefully there will be positivity for him in the market on this return to action. Existential shaped well enough at Newbury last time to suggest a small maiden is within his capabilities but Spirit Of Buxted's promising Lingfield run last time sees him nominated as the main danger. Jawshan is also respected on the back of a useful all-weather debut at the end of last month.
