      Verdict

Empress Ali faces a challenging task to give the weight away to talented younger opposition. Caravela has enjoyed a cracking season for Mick Channon but she does seem best coming off a fast pace in a large field and it will be interesting to see the tactics employed by Jim Crowley. GUMRIYAH comes here on the back of just three starts and a comfortable Salisbury maiden success but looks just the sort of progressive filly John Gosden can take through the ranks and she is narrowly preferred to the Channon contender. Asoof continues to run her race and is respected whilst Escape The City and Paramount Love have both shown sufficient talent to challenge for this decent fillies' purse.
