Verdict

Wicker has been in good form on Polytrack though has never raced on this kind of ground while Mr Tyrrell, who is 0-13, hasn't excelled on soft going. Loujain has only had three runs culminating in a second on soft ground at Leicester last May. There should be more to come from the son of Dubawi this campaign and he rates a threat. His former stable companion Mooltazem was beaten a head in a handicap over this track and trip in October and won't mind the conditions while Spun Gold has a couple of Southwell victories to his credit though has no form on this surface. EDGAR ALLEN POE won a couple of races on ground with plenty of give last summer and looks reasonably treated for his reappearance so gets the nod in a tricky handicap.
