Verdict

LORD REDSGIRTH didn't find as much as expected off the bridle when runner-up to Sivola De Sivola here last month but could possibly have needed that run and this doesn't look as competitive, despite the numbers. Gordon Elliott's charge can open his account now. Quel Elite looks to be improving judged on his second to Wyse Hill Teabags at Kelso and Senor Alco was still travelling well when falling at Hexham last time. But a bigger danger may be Rival D'Estruval, who tired badly in very tacky ground at Ayr back in February but clearly has ability and should be placed to good effect when the ground improves.
