Verdict

Veteran Polar Gunner is a credit to connections and showed he has lost none of his enthusiasm when getting the better of Bene Lad at Kelso in March. Prince Tam is chasing a hat-trick after a couple of wins at Newcastle while Regent's Secret has only been put up 3lb for a recent C&D win, but would probably prefer a slightly quicker surface. SHERIFF HALL is usually thereabouts and can confirm recent Kelso running with Cabbyl Do and Tooman Lane. He gets the vote, though Babe Heffron also has possibilities despite his big weight.
