Verdict

NEFYN BAY continues to climb the handicap and is 8lb higher following a decisive course and distance victory this month. After a period of apparent experimentation, connections have identified 2m4f his optimum trip and he can defy the handicapper once again. Talkonthestreet gives Richard Fahey another good chance on the card and he's one to note, although his style of running the last day didn't automatically suggest this half mile drop in trip would suit. It will be interesting to see if he is ridden more aggressively here. No Such Number is lacking consistency at present but Rear Admiral and Return Flight are more than capable of getting involved, with Sean Bowen an intriguing booking for the former.
