Verdict

Gordon Elliott's Tramore winner THE ICE FACTOR has improved markedly since tackling hurdles and is fancied to defy his penalty here as he ran better than the bare results suggest back on the Flat at Dundalk earlier this month. Red Riverman will be popular following his debut third at Newton Abbot but the second has let the form down since and he'll have to settle better here if he is to get home. The filly Cool Newport won on her debut at Ffos Las but hasn't built on that, while Urban Kode was tailed off when falling at Cartmel. Prince Freddie was the best of the newcomers on the level but is probably best watched today.
