In depth

Verdict

Kalmo Bay, Something Silver and Native Coll are the three against the field in a wide open affair, and Kalmo Bay is the selection. A winner at Ayr in February, Something Silver has run some good races in defeat since, though he has crept up the handicap. He would prefer more testing conditions but this durable campaigner cannot be ruled out. Native Coll has enjoyed some success this season, and gets in here on a light weight. He is still well treated, but is another who may prefer more cut. Kalmo Bay is a bit of an in and out performer but his win at Musselburgh two outings ago was quietly impressive. He was readily outpointed last time, but Kalmo Bay hails from a stable in form and is taken to bounce back.
