In depth

Formwatch

Manhattan Rainbow (IRE) Won a Hunter Chase back in May 2000, subsequent runs in HC's were very moderate; likely to have others better in this handicap.

I'm The Man Beaten 4.5L by Free latest at Cartmel. Has been campaigning during the summer over hurdles and fences with little success; others preferred.

Ino III (FR) Ran at Uttoxeter latest finishing second to Blazing Hills. Was given a confident ride which is what he neede having fallen on his penultimate start. If he can keep his jumping together then he must be considered.

Burnt Imp (USA) Beaten 1L on his penultimate start by Shepherd's Rest. Likely to appreciate this extra 3f, but unlikely to reverse that previous form today.

Black Fashion (IRE) Has not run since January at Fontwell where he was beaten 10L by Marble City while carrying top weight. Latest form makes him a possible winner and trainer capable of securing a win after a lay off.

Iron N Gold Consistent enough form finishing second at Hexham last time out in June. Has not won a race since March 1997; others preferred.

Shepherds Rest (IRE) Beat Burnt Imp by 1L last time out at Cartmel. A really game performer producing consistent form; must be considered.

Supreme Soviet Very disappointing at Hexham last time in June when finishing last. Two subsequent runs at Perth producing solid enough form; likely to find some others better.

Zacopani (IRE) Won at Sedgefield in July 2000. Has had two runs sice which have only been moderate; others preferred.

Cottstown Boy (IRE) Ran at Perth in August where he was beaten by Simlet (carrying 11st10lbs on this occasion). A very good consistent hurdler but he is not very brave over fences; needs to overcome his fear at the course to have a chance today.

Arctic Sandy (IRE) Reverted to hurdles on last start finishing a good fourth to Young Lorcan at Sedgefield. Proved he is still has ability but others better today.

Sniper Finished second to Jack Yeat's here in May over 3m2.5f off bottom weight. Previous form is very moderate; others preferred.

Springlea Tower Running more than a stone out of the handicap; makes very little appeal.
