Pc's Eurocruiser (IRE) Won a Handicap hurdle over a year ago at Market Rasen; has not run since and although this form makes him a likely candidate he has not been on a racetrack for over a year and is likely to need the run.
Gabby Hayes (IRE) Very moderate form makes him hard to fancy.
Empire Park Fell on chasing debut at Southall in August (was weakening at the time). Hampered on his latest start over hurdles nine days ago. Difficult to assess on most recent form but on his better form which includes a win over hurdles back in 1999 beating Filial he must be respected.
Laburnum Gold (IRE) Won a selling hurdle over 2m at Uttoxeter latest. Looks to be an improving sort and coming from a yard in great form at the moment; one for the short list.
Woodwind Down 25L beaten by Ghutah latest at Sedgefield. C&D winner back in June but a very moderate contest; place chances at best.
Desert Fighter Finished 23L behind Laburnum Gold at Uttoxeter. Has been running well on the flat, but has been below par on his last two starts. Has not won a hurdle since 1997 so has a bit to prove today but cannot be ignored.
Little Worsall (IRE) Ran at Worcester latest where he never got into the contest. Finished third behind Ghutah on two preior occasions; others preferred.
