      Verdict

An interesting maiden here where London Bid is tentatively proffered as the selection to get the better of experienced opponents Siyabona and Syvilla. The selection makes her debut here and it will be no easy task beating others with racecourse nous. However, Sir Michael Stoute knows what type of animal is required here, having won this race twice in the past seven seasons with debutants. The filly is bred in the purple, being by Rainbow Quest out of Islington, and this 10f looks an ideal start for her. Siyabona has had three chances so far, finishing runner up twice as a juvenile but disappointing as favourite on her reappearance. She may be better for that run, but Godolphin are not red hot at present and she is worth taking on. Syvilla was perhaps flattered by getting as close as she did to Qui Moi on her Nottingham reappearance, but Rae Guest's filly still performed with credit that day and may be the biggest danger here. Gifted Leader can come on a fair bit for his debut and get involved, Hevelius can improve for the run and also a step up in trip, and check out Decibel in the market for clues about the chance of this Perth bumper runner-up. London Bid can take the gold here.
