    Verdict

A fairly open handicap so here goes with a short list of Bogside Theatre, Luna Landing, Fear To Tread and Corum and we take Bogside Theatre to score. Staying will be the name of the game over this trip and Bogside Theatre has plenty of stamina, having won over 1m 5f at Hamilton last time. The ground should not inconvenience and an 8lb rise for that 6l success appears fair enough. Luna Landing was not far away behind Rhamm at Chester and from the same mark can be very competitive over his optimum trip. Fear To Tread will get every yard of this trip and is also effective on fast ground, though she has gone up 5lb for her Leicester second last time and it will be difficult today. Corum took a Wolverhampton stayers' contest last time and is effective on this going, and can be competitive from this 5lb higher mark, while Cutting Crew has been better than all of these but after more than three years off the track Walter Swinburn would be surpassing himself if he had the top weight fit enough to win first time back and preference is for Bogside Theatre.
