Verdict

His style of racing suggests that LEXI'S HERO can come good now dropped in trip today to this stiff 5f, while Novalist and Jack Smudge can go well. The last-named made a promising debut at Ayr over 6f and should be able to build on that and has definite claims here. It is a similar story for Novalist, who has put in four decent efforts so far, though perhaps there may be less room for improvement with him. Christine's Gold is related to juvenile sprinting success and money for Eric Alston's filly would probably be significant, though with some very solid form on the board and his prominent style of racing, Lexi's Hero is preferred.
