Verdict

SUNBOW looks capable of gaining compensation for being disqualified when first past the post on debut and can take this. The Godolphin-owned colt ran very green until finishing fast to come home in front that day, but the win was subsequently scrubbed out after his pilot weighed in 2lb light. He won't be much of a price here but will probably take all the beating. Cookie Crumbles has some solid form on the board but is vulnerable, while newcomer Three Bay Leaves is the sole survivor of three Mark Johnston-trained entries and is related to success over this trip. Edelweiss is smartly bred in the context of this contest and can make a good debut, though preference is for Sunbow.
