In depth

Verdict

A glance through previous winners shows that it takes a high-class hunter to win this and BOXER GEORG fits the bill after his superb effort behind Baby Run in the Fox Hunters' at Aintree where only a couple of errors at the big National fences prevented a victory. Offshore Account was behind and shouldn't reverse the form but Cork All Star has always been a very useful performer and is unbeaten in this sphere. He must be a major threat along with Gone To Lunch, a very classy handicap chaser with a second place in the Scottish National to his credit. Simonsberg has been carrying all before him between the flags but this is very much tougher and Enda Bolger's exciting prospect No Notions may not quite have the experience against these rivals.
