Verdict

FERGIETHELEGEND led at halfway and went further away as the race developed at Wexford so a 6lb rise is unlikely to prevent another big run and he can go in again. Artic Pearl gave El Vasco 5lb and just over a length beating at Leopardstown in March but has twice unshipped his rider subsequently. The runner-up hasn't run since and, as that was easily his best run over fences, may be capable of reversing the form. Glenwood For Ever's rider weighed in just light when runner-up at Kilbeggan and was disqualified. That was his first start for Noel Meade and he should make a bold bid for compensation. Burndown has yet to win over fences and the veteran Enniskillen is better over the banks course.
