Mary Sun hasn't shown enough in her two starts since joining Willie Mullins from Germany though improvement is likely at some stage. Holding Pattern made a successful bumper debut at Thurles in October and has been waiting for better ground to start her hurdling career. Trumps Ace hasn't run badly in a couple of heavy-ground maidens at Clonmel while Tin Town Liz has won twice between the flags and showed some potential on her hurdling bow at Fairyhouse where she led for a long way. AWAYINTHEWEST has now had 10 starts over timber without winning so is obviously vulnerable but she's been running against stiffer opposition and she should finally get off the mark.
