In depth

Verdict

A very good turnout for the money with former champion hurdler Sublimity involved. Now with Robert Hennessy, he's a light of other days and probably needs more testing conditions than he'll face here. This boils down to whether the very useful stayer WON IN THE DARK will be suited by a big drop in distance as he's been taking on the very best in the top marathon events. He gets the vote in the hope he has enough pace and one of his main rivals, the classy chaser Made In Taipan, is also better over further as he demonstrated when reverting to hurdles and scoring over 2m4f at KIllarney. Action Master will like the track and trip and could be the one to exploit any lack of basic speed by the main contenders.
