    Verdict

Show Palace won three of his last four in the autumn with his only defeat coming when stepped up to 6f. He's 6lb higher but in the same grade so he should make a bold bid despite the long absence. Hamish Mcgonagain has been gradually progressing on the all-weather while Irish Cailin would have a chance though she another returning from a long absence. Kiringa made most but couldn't hang on over 5f at Wolverhampton while Whispering Soul will be better for her recent run at Musselburgh. ROUND THE ISLAND has a smart pedigree and showed his first sign of ability on his reappearance at Thirsk last month so gets the verdict in a very moderate contest.
