Verdict

Cosmic Chatter signalled an imminent victory in the summer before scoring easily at Pontefract but has been unable to keep up the momentum from his revised mark. Summerghand only scrambled home from two rivals at Yarmouth but did better when a close second at Epsom and should get into the action. Samarmadi hasn't progressed as expected from his debut victory at Doncaster but GEOFF POTTS made a successful debut for new connections over this trip on soft ground after transferring to Richard Fahey and found the minimum trip too short at Catterick next time. He can return to winning ways though Penny Pot Lane is generally consistent and will enjoy the conditions. However, Interlink is best on the all-weather.
