Verdict

ABONDANZA is on form and on these terms should be the one to side with in this small field Claimer with Caprio the closest danger while Turnkey will take all the beating if retuning to form. Running out of a stable that are going well in these types of races the selection is in the hunt of a hat-trick made up of claimers. He wasn't stopping when landing the latest of those and he has terms in his favour. Turnkey is a stablemate of the pick but looks the second string on jockey bookings. If he can run up to his rating he has every chance on these terms and he shouldn't be ruled out as he has also won his last two races at this level. Caprio doesn't have to find much on the ratings and with his win at Hamilton last time confirming he is as good on the turf as the all-weather Jim Boyles runner looks a live one. Ace Of Spies will have to improve to win this but a big run was expected last time so in a good little claimer Abondanza looks the pick.
