Verdict

Save The Bees let down his supporters when bombing out at a short price at Wetherby but Declan Carroll's charge has bounced back with successes at Carlisle and Chester and he is likely to be popular on his hat-trick bid. With plenty of today's rivals having early pace, he is unlikely to get his own way so PRIMOGENITURE is preferred. David O'Meara's charge had winning form on fast ground in Ireland, and he hasn't done a great deal wrong in recent visits to Beverley and York. Charlie Appleby is a rare visitor to Ripon so Pathway To Honour has to be regarded as a danger to all if transferring his form from the artificial surfaces. L'inganno Felice will be a bigger price than his form entitles and Graham Lee, who won on him in maiden company, is back aboard.
